Hol a komment? Public figures' comments, with sources.

“Hol a komment?” (Hungarian for “Where is the comment?”) finds, archives and indexes the comments a public figure leaves under other people's posts. Every item comes with a screenshot and the original source link.

The problem

Newspapers quote a comment as text, but the context gets lost: under which post, when, in reply to whom. Tracking it by hand is impossible, because the comments are scattered across many pages.

The solution

There is no off-the-shelf tool for this, and no simple solution either. Comments appear in many places and in many forms, and whether a hit really is what it seems often only becomes clear after close inspection. So we built a multi-stage, AI-assisted system that examines, verifies and organises the material step by step before anything is published. That is exactly what made it a good challenge: a non-trivial problem called for non-trivial tools.

What it does

  • Tied to the sourceEvery item has a screenshot and a link to the original post.
  • Cost-aware AIOur own approach keeps the AI bill to a minimum: a few dollars a month (measured in September 2026).
  • Statistics and word cloudWhen, under whose post, about what. A time slider takes the word cloud back to any day.
  • BouquetsWhen the same comment appears under several posts on one day, it is shown as one item, fanned out.
  • 3D gallery and cinemaWalkable spaces in the browser, also in VR on Meta Quest (since 7 October 2026).
  • Privacy by designNo analytics script and no tracking cookies. A reply to a private person never becomes an item, and removal requests are answered within 5 business days.
