OPDISPLAY: prices, offers and opening hours on the LED wall.
OPDISPLAY is a browser-based control system for LED walls and pylons: prices, offers, opening hours, any message. It runs at fuel stations today, but it drives any LED wall. A change reaches the wall in seconds, with no room for error.
The problem
Prices and offers on LED walls are often updated on site, by hand, in a separate program. Nobody knows what the street actually sees, and a frozen display can go unnoticed for days.
The solution
A central server composes a “scene” for each device: prices, images, videos, opening hours, weather. The client on the wall receives changes in real time and reports back what it shows and whether it is alive. If the connection drops, the wall keeps going and shows the latest content.
What it does
- Automatic price updatesFrom central control or from your existing till or pricing system, without manual steps.
- Images, video, promotionsOffers, menus and seasonal deals next to the prices, all scheduled.
- Scheduling and daylightBy opening hours, weekday and time; day and night modes follow sunrise and sunset.
- Real-time updatesChanges appear on the wall at once, and the wall sends back a screenshot of what it shows.
- Monitored operationEach pylon checks in every 30 seconds; after 15 minutes of silence an email alert goes out.
- Never stopsIf the connection drops, it keeps showing the latest content, and it can be updated remotely.
