Ki kapta?! Where public grants to NGOs actually go.

“Ki kapta?!” (“Who got it?!”) turns the government's public grant map into a searchable interface: who received how much, where the money concentrates, and which organisations are connected.

  • StatusLive, public
  • Organisationsabout 21,000
  • Grantsabout HUF 420 bn, 2022-2026
  • Refreshdaily
  • Publicsince 30 August 2026

The problem

The data is public, but embedded in a map and hard to search. Aggregating it, comparing it and finding connections by hand would take days.

The solution

A daily pipeline organises the embedded data by organisation and year, builds a network from shared representatives and addresses, and shows only fact-based, documented flags. The interface uses no judgemental wording.

What it does

  • OverviewTotals by year and fund, with the top 1% shown separately.
  • Network graphBy shared representative and shared address, with expandable, draggable nodes.
  • Fact-based flagsAfter legal review only factual flags remained; the method is public.
  • District mapRanking and map by electoral district.
  • Precise searchAccent- and word-exact search with organisation profiles.
  • Daily refreshThe data refreshes automatically every night.
